Not everyone is making it under their own steam – I am told that around 10 cars will be trucked to the border where they will have to be unloaded and pushed across. Many of the drivers at the back of the immigration queue take on the extra responsibility of manhandling the cars over the crossing where they will have to be reloaded onto different trucks and taken to the first camp site – or maybe Novosibirsk for those that need more work on the upcoming rest day.
